Are Mobile Apps or Mobile Websites better? This could be an age old question but neither platform has been around that long. This chart is from a study showing what people prefer to use when working with smart phones. The answer to the above question is apparently… “It depends.” Who said marketing is easy?

About marketingfocus

I've been in the print marketing and direct mail business for over 30 years. I guess that means I'm old, but it also means that I bring a certain level of experience and expertise into a business relationship. My company, Burlington Press, specializes in printing and direct mail along a wide range of marketing services including web site design and development, email marketing and video production. For marketing to be effective it needs to be well rounded and use all channels available that make sense.

  1. I’d have to agree with this chart. From what I’ve been studying, people are using mobile web more because often times, people are unsatisfied with the Apps they download. Apps are a great tool, but they are definitely not for everyone.

Btw, as you note, you might be a lil’ older, but the principles of Direct Mail Marketing are very close to other forms such as e-Mail, & mobile marketing. In fact, if you follow Frank Kern you know that he basically says outright that he learned everything from Print & Direct Mail Marketing.
